Keep your eyes out for patterns that could be found in your professors closet, such as quilts, tartan, polka dots, and three piece suits, which are spiffed up and look sexy. Heftier shoes are in- of course to cope with the weather of the season, yet they are still classy and manly in a sophisticated way.

Its warm. Its sunny. Its just plain gorgeous. The wind isn't too rough, the rain ain't fallin yet, and there are no clouds in the sky. We all love it when its like this, mainly because it means no more
-boots (winter sludge trudgers)
-mitts (who wants to cover up that gorgeous bling?)
-hats (hellooooooo frizz attack. hat hair is never in, even if you are a cute snowboarder)
-winter coats (yes, Canada Goose jackets were in this winter season, but lets keep the geese where they belong... no where to been seen)
-scarves (pashminas are still A-OKAY however)
-ski goggles? I'm not sure if you wear them in public, but with our harsh winters (blizzards!!!) I could have sworn I saw someone sporting them
The list could go on, but I'm feeling almost depressed speaking about winter on a beautiful day like today.
Take a nap on the lawn in the sun? I know I will.

Let's be honest with ourselves... its not THAT hot outside. Although we wear the tiniest of mini skirts and strapless tanks to the clubs (NOT I!), we do not dare risk showing that much skin on campus. YET. I wore shorts the other day and I recieved the dirtiest looks. HELLO I don't want white legs. Ever heard of NATURAL tanning? Apparently not.
Anyway, Becky realizing its still only the beginning of March (I forget sometimes) paired the dress with leggings and boots. Classically dressing down, (but up too) the dress.

It's fun to dressup and make your room look like a tornado swept through your closet. It's part of my morning routine.

spotted. lovely ladies, with an appearance from Madonna.

I've always been told that a picture can tell a thousand stories...or be described in a thousand words? either one... my memory is a bit fuzzy right now... Each of these pictures can be described in a thousand words in terms of what we are wearing and the events which unfolded after these snapshots were taken. Featured on the left is (moi), wearing a lace top, with a black skirt (that is actually gold, but I flipped it inside out for a pure black crinoline one...) paired with leggings and Forever 21 shooz. I could bore you with 963 more words, but you would probably give up and move off to doing bigger and better things in your lives. So, I will spare you that tedious task. To my complete surprise, after this picture was taken, a younger version of Madonna danced into my bathroom. (hottub time machine???). She shook her booty and rocked an ice blue skirt, a short cropped black shirt and tights, pairing it with a vintage necklace and a lovely 80's styled poof. (ahaaha). My bathroom has now been blessed with the presence of a celebrity. (kidddingggg, love you Nicole! *model cred).

Tinkerbell Carly. With every new picture comes an interesting and new tale. This lovely lady featured above is wearing a black corset as a top, paired with a green skirt. She happily told me that when she was picking out her outfit, she thought of me and how crafty I am at making outfits out of unconventional pieces of clothing. woo. People think of meeee <3>

Mamacita Shraddha. owwoowowwww. kay, I absolutely love this picture. She's probably going to make me take it down, but until she yells at me for having it up here, I'm going to let everyone see her sexy outfit. Featured on Shraddha is a white tank, paired with a black skirt (that is actually a tube top! people are thinking like meee) and a black belt. She took one of my bracelets (which, I am going to point out, only goes around my wrist... CHECK OUT HER BICEP PEOPLE. If you look closely, you can see it!!! She has the tiniest arms in the world, just so everyone knows.)

project SPOTTED, another willing participant.

Once again, I am bringing up the Project SPOTTED. Yesterday I received a couple photos from a lovely lady to post! If you ever have any desire to be on the blog (it would be great to see what you decided to put together to wear!), just give me a shout!

Featured on Emma in these pictures is an h&m black vintage styled dress, paired with a wilfred cardigan, long chained chanel pearls and random cute pair of heels from the pacific mall. The shoes were a great steal, only being $25!!

I'm proud to say that word gets around. As soon as I posted my previous volunteer, another one quickly came after! woo! And coincidentally, her name is also Nicole (toooo funny). Ps. total sexalicious alert. watch out boys.

Featured on this lovely lady is American Apparel skirt which she creatively turned into a dress, then paired it with a lace tank top from Aritzia stretched downward so that the lace is shown. She then spiced things up with her own collection of jewelry. Cute, and absolutely gorgeous!

NEW PROJECT! PLEASE PARTICIPATE (to make me feel happy)

So, I am initiating a new aspect of my blog. Its going to be the 'spotted on campus' section. Either I am going to creep you, and take a picture of a cool (or not so cool) outfit if I see you on campus, or you can spare yourself the humiliation (if I catch you in something absolutely dreadful), and take your own pictures and send them to me!! I would love it if anyone who looks at my blog (and looking at the stats, I have almost 3300 views since the beginning of Jan!), sends in pictures! You can creep me on facebook and make a private album for me, or just sent me a quick email at jenclarke1@me.com. It would make my DAY if you sent me in pictures so everyone can look at your lovely outfits! (GUYS TOO!!!!!!!!)

Nicole was the guniea pig of this operation.... she sent in pictures willingly (I will hunt you down if not!). Today she is wearing:

brown lacoste boots, which she just bought, black tights, a black american apparel high waisted skirt, a white tank top from garage , pink corset type top "ralph Lauren, rugby" thrifted at our favourite place (talize, of course, who are you kidding), and finally, she is sporting a lovely black blazer which was thriftede at value village in thunder bay ... Why you ask in Thunder Bay? Because we were on our raodtrip baby! Ha. Yes, we drove across the most boring (but extremely scenic), parts of Canada. It was a trip to remember though!

FASHION FEATURE SPOTTED AT ROUGE: tights. every girl needs them in the winter, they are a life saver for your legs. make your legs look funky with different colours of the rainbow. featured here are Carly Hawkes fantastic pinktastic tights. she definitely rocked them.
FASHION FEATURE SPOTTED AT ROUGE: vintage. every girl wishes to pull it off, because we are all secretly in love with visions of the past. seen here are two gorgeous girls who recently made trips to a thrift store (that day!!), purchased clothes and sported them at the bar (basically their whole outfits, give or take a few items). lovely. the girl on the right even shows me a sweet mini hand cuff bracelet she snagged at the store that I was extremely jealous of.
SPOTTED> shelby. i love her outfit, she paired a cute black and grey somewhat tye dye dress with a lovely belt and bangles. absolutely gorgeous.

REVAMP. shirt from Costa Blanca. boring, and no fun. I decided to change it up.

I slipped my head through one of the arm holes and then weaved the other one over the front to create a twisted draped look. I was actually really happy with the outcome. so much better than the beginning piece of clothing. for sure.
since i draped it, the shirt became more of a dress, I was able to pull it down farther than normal. yay :)

I paired it with a leather jacket, and pulled back my hair into a ponytail. really really happy with the end result.
AND how can we forget the leggings? I would never. this is a neat pair, they are from Costa Blanca, and are striped. extremely neat. Who knew a random fashion out dated shirt and a pair of leggings could become so beautful? darn I'm good. wooooo
