butterflies in spring.

To start off the day, (or this post, whichever one comes first,) I need to regulate the stories which I tell my readers. My grandmother sent me a very worried text message this morning and was very concerned that I might have gotten a concussion from the snow that fell on my head after I walked out of my apartment (two posts ago?). So to clarify, my head and health is perfectly fine.

On another note, the sun is shinning gloriously today, teasing us with a taste of spring. Can I officially so goodbye and farewell to winter? Its London... who am I kidding. For the moment however, I am happy to close my eyes and point my face in the suns direction collecting some sort of UV rays, no matter how weak. To be honest, I think I need sun in my life. I feel one hundred million quadrillion (eleventy billion trillion?) times better. So much so that I might go for a bike ride. If I owned a bike. ha. (ya, that suggestion is extremely unlikely). nuuufff rambling....

Outfit in the sunshine?! It's finally not frigid arctic weather, so I could take a picture outside. omgomgomg.

Featured here is a purple floral patterned skirt that I fashioned into a top, and belted it with a purple ribbon and a bow. The black skirt I am wearing is actually GOLD (yes, I had the genius of an idea to turn it inside out this morning, since I wanted a ballerina style black skirt, but only had a gold one.... and yes, it does have crinoline inside :) I felt truly like a princess).

Over exposure. oyyyyyyy you know when the sun is shinning when! (FINALLY. I AM DONE WITH GLOOMY GREY CLOUDS ENSHROUDING THE SKY SO I CANNOT SEE MY OWN SHADOW WHICH I HAVE MISSED SO MUCH OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. AND IF YOU ARE READING THIS AS IF I AM YELLING BECAUSE IT IS IN CAPTITALS YOU ARE QUITE TRULY MISTAKEN FOR I NEVER YELL IN THE LIBRARY, DUE TO ITS NO SPEAKING ((AND EVEN MORE SO NO YELLING))WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW).
Sorry for that :)
lookie lookie for the breakdown of my spring outfit.

Both skirts featured. Notice the purple ribbon and the pleats it creates while tied around my waist.

shoooz. I used to wear them in private school with my uni, and I never really thought I would wear them again, but lo and behold on this lovely Thursday, they have found their way to my feet. woo.

SPOTTED ON THE RUNWAY FEATURED IN THE TOP NEW TRENDS OF SPRING WEAR:
Jessica Biffi
This is a collection of whimsical outfits, displaying a goreous plate of pastels, creating the vision of dancing petals of a collection of flowers, that were plucked from the garden of eden and sprinkled onto the runway. Enjoy ladies.

Forever 21: My publically known favourite store. Here is some floral eye candy which I am gladly sharing with you. ughhhhhh I wish I had an unlimited amount of millions of dollars. There aren't enough clothes in this world for me...
La Vie En Rose
(not actually the store). It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Which is coming out TOMORROW BY THE WAY. Anyone mad enough to ask me out on a date to go? (wow... I meant to write MAN enough, but I guess mad enough is fitting because of the Mad Hatter...) I'm having way too much fun on this post today loooool.

Speaking of Alice in Wonderland... I was (by accident?) in the mall yesterday and I happened to walk into Claires, and saw that they are featuring an Alice in Wonderland line. omgomgomg. I am happy to say that I did NOT buy anything, but that is just a personal accomplishment. It took alot of hard work and convincing myself that I didn't need anything because I LOVE the book Alice in Wonderland. And I just so happen to love Johnny Depp too. So I will doubly love the movie?
