Style Trend: Skulls

As far as I can remember, the first skull item that I ever purchased was when I was going through my Avril Lavigne phase, where I would wear mis-matching sneakers, skirts over pants and ties. Fortunately, those days for me are over. However, you can purchase a skull and cross boned item without being extremely tacky. As Halloween rolls around the corner, classy skulls are very appropriate for an upcoming trend.

To take this inspiration from the runway to your home, it  doesn't have to be as eccentric as a full length gown sporting a human skeleton on it. It is easy to take this very daring and almost ugly image and transform it into something artistic, beautiful and eye-catching.

As far as accessories go, if you have an iPhone, you can easily dress it up with an amazing skull piece of art. Click on any of the images below to completely customize a skull iphone case for yourself.

If you want to doll up any outfit with some glitz and glam and a subtle hint of skull and cross bone aggressiveness, there are a ton of cute little accessories that you can choose from, ranging from Betsey Johnson to simple skull studs.

Thinking about adding some skull decor to your house or home? Here are some neat skull pieces of art that I found, which would be perfect in any home, contemporary, modern or traditional. And these aren't just for Halloween.
